UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY-GOVERNMENT-ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP

International Companies and Government Agencies support research and technology transfer through sole-sponsor projects, multi-sponsor projects or through a $125,000 annual subscription to the BISC Associates Program.  Academic, research institutes, and non-profit organizations can join BISC Associate Program through $1250,000 annual subscription. The membership can be provided to the BISC program through BISC-MOU, BISC-ILP and/or BISC-BEECSA members programs.  In addition to an annual membership, companies may support the program through product, equipment, or technology donations. Companies may also support program through CITRIS Program, Center for Intelligent Systems (CIS) Program, and joint collaboration through the UC Discovery Grant.

BISC Strategic Program

BISC Strategic Partners pay $250,000 per year for a committed three years membership. They join with BISC faculty and researchers to constitute the BISC Executive Research Council that establishes BISC Program missions, create new field of research or new application areas (related to the Soft Computing and Computational Intelligence) and oversees the funding priorities.

For more Information regarding BISC Strategic Program, please contact BISC Executive Director; Dr. Masoud Nikravesh, Nikravesh@cs.Berkeley.edu; Tel: (510) 643-4522) or BISC Director;  Prof. Lotfi A. Zadeh,  Zadeh@cs.berkeley.edu, Tel: (510) 642-4959.
